The 8-day tour includes easy outdoor activities that can be suitable for children, parents, senior people - walking, hiking, river boat trip, countryside cycle, boat cruise, sea kayaking. Highlights of the tour are day tour in Hanoi, boat cruise in Tam Coc, hike in Mai Chau, visit Cao Son market, trek in Sapa, boat cruise Halong bay, cyclo ride in Hanoi. The tour is highly recommended to small group family holidays, couples and those seeking a real life experience.



Day 1: Hanoi – Tam Coc, Ninhbinh.

Depart for Ninh Binh.

Visit the two remaining sanctuaries of the ancient citadel of Dinh & Le in Hoa Lu.

Travel to Tam Coc where we will have lunch before taking a 2-hour boat trip along the Boi river. The river trip in Thung Nang is wonderful for photo hunters, especially when local people come to harvest the water rice planted along the river, or when they transplant some seedling for the next crops.

After the boat trip, enjoy a half hour easy cycle around Tam Coc before checking-in hotel for overnight.

Day 2: Tam Coc – Mai Chau.

Transfer to Kenh Ga – “The Chicken Canal” for another boat trip along the Hoang Long river to experience the real life of a Vietnamese catholic community. Set on the banks of the Hoang Long River, Kenh Ga is a remarkable place, not only because it is surrounded by the same massive rocks that dominate Hoa Lu, but also because for most of the year the entire community lives on the water itself. The floating village of Kenh Ga receives relatively few visitors compared to nearby Hoa Lu and the peoples' aquatic way of life has changed little over the centuries.

After the boat trip, continue our journey to Mai Chau valley where we stop for overnight.

In the evening, assist to the traditional music and dance show which is performed by the Thai young girls and boys who all come from the village. Try also some rice alcohol which is made of traditional plants and local sticky rice.

Day 3: Maichau – Hanoi. Overnight train to Laocai.

Breakfast will be provided in a Thai stilt house. Then we leave the village for a half day walking around. We will pass many different Thai hamlets, through rice fields, hill sides…We will stop by some local houses to talk with local people to understand their customs and culture.

After lunch, we will take our journey back to Hanoi.

Enjoy one-hour body massage in one of the most luxury spa salon in town before take the overnight train to Lao Cai.

Day 4: Arrive Lao Cai. Travel to Cao Son. Visit Cao son market. Trek Cao Son villages.


Arrive in Lao Cai Railway station early this morning. You will be welcome by Lotussia local guide, driver then transferred to a local restaurant in Lao Cai city for breakfast and short rest before proceeding to Cao Son region. Stop en route for photos.

You will join the Cao Son trekking stream of people from Lung Khau Nhin and some nearby villages heading to Cao Son. Free to discover the market with our tour guide. Heading for the lunch in Cao Son Ecolodge. In the afternoon, visit the primitive forest in La Pan Tan commune. Back to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Travel to Sapa. Hiking Sapa villages.

After breakfast, transfer to Sapa. We will arrive in Sapa around noon. Check-in hotel and have your lunch in a local restaurant in town.

In the afternoon, there will be a walking tour to a H’mong hill tribe village of Ma Tra (or Cat Cat). As we walk to the villages nestled in the valley below Sapa, we will meet some of the local people on their way to and from Sapa. Here we have the opportunity to share cultural experiences with the families that live in the area.

Day 6: Continue trekking Sapa. Travel to Lao Cai. Overnight train back to Hanoi.

After breakfast, we will travel by car downhill to Mong Sen where we start a dirt trail through rice fields and villages. Enjoy spectacular view along the way.

Your picnic lunch will be provided on spot.

After lunch, we continue our trek downhill towards Taphin village inhabited by Red Dao and Black Hmong minorities. These are two largest ethnic groups living in Sapa area. Stop by some house to meet local people and talk with them to understand their culture, customs and traditions. Late afternoon, we will trek back to to main road to get on our vehicle for the journey to Laocai railways station.

Day use will be provided in a standard hotel before taking the overnight train back to Hanoi.

Day 7: Arrive Hanoi. Travel to Halong bay. Boat junk cruise with kayaking tour.

Arrive in Hanoi early this morning, transfer to the Morning Flower Market for a short visit before departing to Halong Bay.

Breakfast will be provided in a local restaurant en route.

Enjoy the journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields, water buffalo and everyday Vietnamese village life. Arrive in Halong and board the Bai Tho traditional sailing junk (or similar junk). Whilst cruising the exquisite waters sample the regions fresh seafood. Visit the recently discovered Surprise Grotto with its great views, and on the next island see the yawning mouth of Bo Nau Cave. Alternatively journey to Dau Go Cave and nearby see the famous stalagmites and stalactites of Thien Cung Cave. Enjoy a swim in the emerald waters of Halong Bay at any spot that you wish to visit or take a kayaking trip to explore the Bay (optional). Watch the sun set over the bay whilst enjoying a delicious dinner.

Day 8: Halong bay – Hanoi.

Wake up to fresh coffee and a wholesome breakfast before cruising back to Halong City. Disembark at the dock at Halong City at 11:00 and travel back to Hanoi.

The 6-day multisport tour includes such holidays activities as trekking, cycling, sampan cruise tour, boat junk cruises and sea kayaking. The tour begins in Hanoi and takes you through Mai Chau village, Pu Luong Nature Reserve, Tam Coc – “Halong bay inland” and Halong bay, the New Seven World Wonder. You have different choices in terms of accommodation including local homes (Homestay), guesthouse and on board junk. The multisport holiday package is available all year round but the best time to travel this itinerary is April, May and October.



Day 1: Hanoi – Mai Chau - Puluong.Trek Pu Luong Nature Reserve (Hang village).

After breakfast, depart for Pu Luong Nature Reserve. This scenic drive takes around four hours. Along the way we pass fields of tapioca and sugar cane as well as rice paddies. Following lunch in Poom Coong village we drive further into the reserve where we begin our trek. We trek for approximately three hours before arriving at the Thai village of Hang.

We spend the night with a local Thai family who will be our host in a traditional house on stilts. Whilst enjoying their hospitality we will discover a little more about their lives and culture.

Day 2: Continue trekking Pu Luong (Hang village - Kho Muong village).

Today we will walk for about six hours. Along the way we pass through several Thai villages and hamlets before arriving at the village of Kho Muong. As the name suggests this is a Muong minority village and we will be their guests for the night.

Day 3: Continue trekking Puluong. Travel to Tam Coc, Ninh Binh.

This morning we set out from Kho Muong and trek for roughly three hours and a half before arriving in Pho Doan townlet where your lunch will be provided in a local house.

After breakfast, we will take a motorbike-taxi to La Han ferry where our car will be waiting for us for our journey to Tam Coc (“Halong bay in-land”).

Dinner & overnight in Tamcoc.

Day 4: Tam Coc sampan cruise tour. Travel back to Hanoi.
After breakfast, take a two-hour boat trip along the Boi river. The river trip in Tam coc is wonderful for photo hunters, especially when local people come to harvest the water rice planted along the river, or when they transplant some seedling for the next crops. The tourists often compare the place with Guilin - China, or more closely, to the limestone islets of Halong Bay in the Tonkin Gulf for their similar geological structures and shapes.

Then return to Hanoi.

Day 5: Travel to Halong bay. Boat cruise with sea canoeing tour.

Join our shuttle bus (sharing) and enjoy the journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields, water buffalo and everyday Vietnamese village life.

Arrive in Halong around noon and board the Bai Tho traditional sailing junk (or similar). Whilst cruising the exquisite waters sample the regions fresh seafood. Day 6: Halong bay – Hanoi.

Wake up to fresh coffee and a wholesome breakfast before cruising back to Halong City. Disembark at the dock at Halong City at 11:00 and transfer back to Hanoi.

Arrive back in Hanoi around 15:00. Trip ends.

The 3-day tour will take to to Bac Ha and Sapa, Lao Cai province in northern Vietnam. You experience such travel highlights as the Bac Ha Sun day market, one of the most colorful highland market is only open on Sunday morning; a day walking tour in Sapa offering you the opportunity to visit the H’mong and the Red Dzao, two biggest ethnic groups in Sapa. Enjoy also one day bicycle tour to Binh Lu, Tam Duong, Lai Chau. This is a mountain bike trip offers lots of uphill and downhill ride.


 Day 1: Arrive Laocai. Travel to Bac Ha. Visit Bac Ha Sunday market. Travel to Sapa.

Upon your arrival at Laocai railway station at 6:00 (please advise), you will be greeted by Lotussia Travel local team and transferred to a local restaurant for early breakfast.

Then leave Lao Cai for a 2-hour road journey to Bac Ha. The first portion of the road is flat and good. Then it is narrower and turns left and right more frequently from Bac Ngam to the market.

Arrive to the Market place at about 10.00 am. Spend two hours joining the local tribal peoples including Flower H’mong, Black Zao, Phu La and Tay for the festive market activities where peoples in their best traditional costume gather every Saturday for shopping and socializing. The animal and  clothing sections are the most interesting until 11.30 am, and then comes the food section.

Leaving Bac Ha after lunch for a half-hour drive downhill to Trung Do. Enjoy a leisure walk to explore this prosperous village of the Tay ethnic people who live in large stilt house.

Enjoy an hour boat trip along the Chay River to Bao Nhai where you will be picked up again by our vehicle for the road trip to Sapa.

Day 2: Sapa mountain biking tour one day.

8:30: You will be met up at your hotel in Sapa by Lotussia Travel team. Leaving Sapa, you will go uphill to the Silver Waterfall where you will be dropped off to start the tour. From here you will cycle up  to the Heavens Gate,  the highest stretch of road  in Vietnam. You will experience the stunning views  across  the  valley. 

You will  then  travel  by  bicycle  downhill  to  Binh  Lu, where  the lunch will be provided.

From Binh Lu  it  is also possible for you to  take 1 more hour  on  the  bike  and  1  hour  walking  to  a  remote  village  inhabited  by  the  Dao minority.

It is now time for the jeep ride back to Sapa.

Day 3: Sapa trekking tour. Travel to Laocai. Overnight train back to Hanoi.

8:30: You will be met up at your hotel in Sapa by Lotussia Travel team. Transfer 15 km to the Mong Sen Bridge with stops along the way for enjoying spectacular landscapes.

Upon our arrival in Mong Sen village, we start trekking uphill along large dirt road  for nearly an hour, then following a narrow dirt trail winding its way on steep hill-sides along the western bank of the upstream part of Ngoi Dum River for 2 hours to an isolated hamlet of the Black H’mong people, explore these isolated hamlets of the Black H’mong, then lunch break.

After lunch, we continue trekking along the same trail for nearly 1,5 hours up and downhill towards Ta Phin Valley and arrive at the center of Ta Phin Commune in mid afternoon. Take a walk around this stunning valley, paying visit to some Red Zao families, then we will be picked up again by our vehicle for one-hour drive to Laocai.

You will be dropped off at Loacai railway station. End of our service.
